Photo Diary: Week 3

Hey Munchies! Het is alweer week 3 in het nieuwe jaar en ik heb geprobeerd om niet alleen eten te fotograferen deze week. Het is een beetje gelukt dus kijk maar snel verder! Ook ga ik onder de Nederlandse tekst een Engelse versie zetten, omdat er een verzoek was om dat te doen. Dat vind ik helemaal geen probleem! Het is juist leuk om te horen dat er mensen uit andere landen mijn blog lezen.

Hey Munchies! It's already the third week of this new year and I've tried to take pictures of anything except of food. Also, I will put an English version below the Dutch version because I got a request to do so. That isn't a problem for me! I think it's nice to hear that people from other countries are reading my blog, so thank you! :)

Ik heb deze beker in Filipijnen gekocht en het is zo pretty! 

Omdat het zo mooi is, motiveert het mij om meer te drinken.

Jammer genoeg lekt hij af en toe, dus ik kan hem niet meenemen.

I bought this drinking bottle in the Philippines and it's so pretty!

Because it looks pretty, it motivates me to drink more water.

It's a pity it's leaking, so I can't take it with me :(

Voordat ik ging werken had mijn pa lekker eten voor me gemaakt.

Aardappelen met krokante kippenvleugeltjes!

Before I got to work my dad made delicious food for me.

In de avond heb ik in een Filipijns restaurant in Den Haag gegeten: Baryo Pilipinas.

Thursday, January 15

 Ik heb deze foto gemaakt in het Boijmans museum in Rotterdam. Ik zal even vertellen

wat er allemaal is gebeurd.

Het is een klein kamertje met spiegels, het is de "Infinity Room" van Yayoi Kusama.

Ik deed de deur open en dacht gelijk: NEE, ik ga hier echt niet in! 

Ik werd meteen claustrofobisch en ik werd helemaal gek in mijn hoofd

omdat het allemaal niet klopt in dat kamertje, snap je wat ik bedoel?

Nou in ieder geval, ik dacht yolo en ging dat kamertje in ookal was ik super bang.

We stonden daar ongeveer 5 minuten lang foto's te maken, want ja

het ziet er best wel tof uit toch!

En toen.. GING HET LICHT UIT. Ja, het was een nachtmerrie voor mij. 

De mensen die mij kennen weten dat ik heel snel bang word, dus ook in het donker.

Het licht ging uit, ik zag niks meer en ik raakte in paniek!!!

Ik begon meteen naar buiten te rennen en een veilig plekje te zoeken,

want dat kamertje.. daar wil ik NOOIT meer in. NOOIT MEER.

Maar ja, ik heb wel een toffe foto als herrinering.

I made this picture in the Boijmans museum in Rotterdam. I'll tell you

what happened in that room.

It's a small room with mirrors on every wall, it's the "Infinity Room" of Yayoi Kusama.

I opened the door and I thought: NO, I'm not going inside!

I got claustrophobic immediately and I was panicking already.

But, I thought yolo and went in the room even though I was really scared.

We stood there for five minutes making pictures, because

the room looks really awesome, right?

And then.. THE LIGHTS WENT OFF. Yeah, it was like a nightmare.

My friends know I get scared easily.

So, the lights went off, I couldn't see anything and started panicking!!!

I started to run outside to find a safe place, 

because that room.. I will never go inside that room. NEVER AGAIN.

But yeah, I have an awesome picture as a reminder.

Na ons museumbezoek hebben we even patat gehaald bij Fritèz. 

Ze verkopen biologische patat, erg lekker!

After visiting the museum we ate fries at Fritèz.

They sell biological fries, it's delicious!

Ik ging naar Amsterdam met mijn vriend om te winkelen

en 's avonds hebben we lekker gegeten bij MIU.

I went to Amsterdam with my boyfriend to shop

and we had dinner at MIU. 

YUMMY!

Sunday, January 18

Vandaag heb ik mijn tweede filmpje van mijn vakantie

in de Filipijnen geupload! Als je het nog niet gezien hebt,

dan moet je het nu gaan kijken :)
