Hi Munchies! It has been a long time since I posted a blogpost and I posted a lot of vlogs in a row, yay for a new blogpost! I already have a few ideas for my blog and my youtube-channel and I hope I'll stick with my planner. Today I have a blogpost about the notorious Japanese snack: Pocky. These are chocolate-coated biscuit sticks but there are different flavours, like strawberry or green tea. In the Netherlands it's very rare to have them but now and then they're being sold at the asian supermarkets. They're also very expensive here in the Netherlands, bummer.
During my vacation in the Philippines last year, I bought some unique Pocky's! I bought them all to try them and yes, I did enjoy it. I also bumped into other flavours here in the Netherlands and I asked an employee of the asian supermarket if these Pocky flavours will stay in the stores but he told these were limited edition. SO I BOUGHT A LOT.
Today I will show you how these Pocky flavours look like and how they taste!
This is the classic Pocky: chocolate coated.
This Pocky is the one you could never go wrong with. It doesn't have a rich chocolate flavour and that's why you can eat a lot of Pocky.
DOUBLE CHOCO!
When I bought this I thought it would be wonderful because you know how much I looooove chocolate. Unfortunately, the biscuit wasn't crispy but a bit soft, it tasted like it was expired.
Strawberry Flavour
I really liked this one because you could really taste the strawberry flavour (duh) and it wasn't too sweet!
Pocky Almond CRUSH!
This one was really delicious. The chocolate tasted just like milk chocolate and you could really taste deez nuts. This one is for the nuts-lovers.
Pocky Strawberry with extra strawberry.. I think.
This one tasted like the other strawberry Pocky but the strawberry taste was a bit stronger. And oeh, the biscuit was heartshaped, that was really cute.
Pocky Green Tea Flavour
This one is for the green tea lovers! Even tho I drink green tea everyday, I didn't like this Pocky.
MY FAVOURITE ONE! Pocky Panda Creamy Cookies.
This Pocky is like Pocky and Oreo's combined. HEAVEN. My #1. I can't explain, just eat it.
